Elizabeth and
I are living in California and enjoy what this State has to
offer. Both of our families are involved in line work and
I am the fourth generation member of the IBEW. My great grandfather
was involved in starting the Montana Power Company. My grandfather
was a Hydroelectric Dam Main Control Systems Forman in Utah
and Montana. For many years he was the "Shop Steward".
My uncle George Gaudet is the head of the IBEW Apprenticeship
training center in Montana. He retired from the power company
in Montana a few years ago. He was one of the first to be
trained on "Hot 500 KVA" line work.(See Video 4)
My father-in-law has also been working in line work and power
companies for many years. It is obvious that both of my families
have "power in their blood".
